Beginning my real estate career in 1996 for Coldwell Banker-Burnet in Minneapolis, I quickly realized that I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the transaction, especially working closely with my clients. After taking some time off from the industry to raise a family and finish my college degree, I re-joined Edina Realty to team up with my mother Sonja Freeland, long time Northfield agent. I appreciate how far real estate has come with the technology tools available and a mobile presence in the field. My passion is the Northfield, Minnesota area in Rice County!
I have been a member of the Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee for a decade and am the emcee of the famous bank-raid re-enactments each year the week after Labor Day. Each fall I get to tell the story about our little town fighting back against the James-Younger gang in 1876 to over one hundred thousand people. This is a role I wanted ever since I was a young kid, watching the bank-raid re-enactments with my family.
I am married to Lori Freeland and have two daughters in middle school. Rylie is 12 and Kayla is 13.
I host a radio program weekdays about technology, specifically the use of mobile devices and apps for Android and the iPhone. This show is distributed across the state through the Minnesota News Network.
