Located in Manatee County, FL, Bradenton is the largest city of the Bradenton-Sarasota-Venice Metropolitan Statistical Area with an approximate population of 682,833. First established in 1842, the city possesses a deeply rooted history. The city covers 14.4 miles of land with 2.33 square miles of water, and it offers a wide variety of housing options.

Due to its rich history, Bradenton contains a number of historical sites including the Braden Castle Park Historical District, the Bradenton Bank and Trust Company Building, the Iron Block Building, the Manatee and Old Manatee County Courthouses and the Peninsular Telephone Company. Tropicana Juice Company was first established in Bradenton by Anthony T. Rossi. While the company headquarters were recently moved to Chicago, much of the company’s production facilities are still located in the region. Many Fridays, community activities are held in the neighborhood, which celebrate a variety of events. Additionally, Bradenton’s Manatee Performing Arts center offers a variety of productions and their players have placed first in the Florida Theater Conference. Realize Bradenton, a non-profit foundation, hosts a number of art and culture focused events that promote the city as a hub for the arts. If sports are more your thing, the community is the training home to the Pittsburgh Pirates as well as the minor league Marauders. Additionally, the State College of Florida offers a variety of sports programs, and many of the local high schools produce competitive sports teams. The IMG Soccer Academy is also located in Bradenton, and it provides a U-17 Residential Soccer Program that is attractive to many.
